One of the old buildings within the Civil Hospital premises is the Jubilee Block which has been designated as the Burns Centre and has been refurbished and equipped to serve as a major Burns Care Centre.

The Jubilee Block is a hundred years old heritage-protected stone walled building and is located at one of the northern corners of the Civil Hospital area with two sides opening on Chand Bibi Road and Baba-e-Urdu Road. The west of the building being open, is ideally ventilated which is important for the recovery of burn patients.
